Azlinda Ariffin – Boromand – Olswang
Azlinda specialises in complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions throughout Asia focusing on Equity Capital Market transactions as well as public and private M&A. She has advised on a number of AIM and Main Market of LSE IPOs and capital raisings by Asian and PRC entities in the UK and Asia including the recent admission of JQW Plc and Camkids Plc to AIM.
She is recognised as an expert in her field with Global Chambers (2012) and (2013) ranking Azlinda both as a Malaysian ‘Expert Based Abroad’ within the field of ‘Banking & Finance: Capital Markets’ and as a UK ‘Foreign Expert’ within the field of ‘Capital Markets: Equity’. She was also acknowledged in Legal 500 (2012) under ‘Flotations: small & midcap’ category for her “strong connections in Southeast” that makes her “the first call when dealing with Malaysian clients”.
Azlinda was listed in the prestigious The Lawyer: Hot 100 List 2014 and was shortlisted in The Lawyer Awards 2014: Client Partner of the Year category in the UK.

Azlinda is a frequent speaker at seminars in China and South East Asia on Asian companies raising funds in the UK. Past seminars include Hong Kong (2013), Bangkok (2012), Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur (2011, 2008) and Guangzhou (2009).
A barrister with Gray’s Inn, Azlinda gained her LLB (Hons) from Cardiff University. She was admitted as an advocate & solicitor in Malaysia in 1994 and as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2007. Azlinda is fluent in Malay and Bahasa Indonesia.
